Ghost and drive partions

I made a CD Image of a hard drive with only one partion using ghost dos disk.

When testing the restore of the CD Image all appears ok.

The hard drive is listed as four equal partions.

When the drive is then listed as Destination Drive Details, The partions are then listed as 9 partions.

Six are listed as 572mb and 2 are listed as 2047 mb and one as 509 mb.

I have not found a way to keep the partions as they originally were.

I made a copy of the Image which seemed ok but the drive was then partioned as 9 small partions.

Please anyone help.
