GH3 guitar broke

Ok so I got Guitar Hero 3 for my Wii just a few days ago and my whammy bar already broke. The game just doesn't register any movements from it.

What should I do?

*having withdrawals*

If you reached 1,000,000 points with it before it broke then
"YOU ARE A F@G!"
Heroine hero

You're just gonna hafta buy a new one

well you wouldnt be asking if you could do it but i would say crack her open and fix it yourself. other then that... uh return to where you bought it from for exchange maybe?

I thought WalMart wouldn't exchange things like this? You think they'll take it back?
Bingo.
It should have some window of opportunity to return it. Tell them you just opened it, and it was b0rked once you started.

That will get em!
😀

You should be able to exchange it within 30 days no questions asked. So the whammy bar doesn't register... but is still FEELS normal? Usually the opposite happens, as in the spring breaks so it doesn't automatically go back but still technically 'works'.

If the store doesn't take it back, check the card that came with your game, I think there is a 60 day warranty

Try changing the batteries. Mine stopped working yesterday until I changed out the batteries. Either they were low or the connection to the wiimote had an issue. worth a shot.

Yeah I'd try this first too, if you haven't already. Mine would stop working during a song and I had to press the "1" button to get it back, only to have it crap out a few moments later. I remember that the batteries probably hadn't been changed in awhile, and so after changing them I had no problems.

Figures...

I was playing last night and I must've played maybe five songs and my whammy bar went to shit. It still has the spring to it, but it just wasn't registering in the game. F'ing thing. :|
