GH:WT Video Output Issue

This is a pretty weird problem, as it is the only game that I have the issue with.

I'm playing the single player tour and part way through a song, my TV appears to cycle the input connection, meaning the whole screen goes black for like 5 seconds. The game continues to play, and nothing is losing power - I was going to try it with just the composite cables, but it just seems like such a strange problem to be happening with just this game, and it's all randomly. I have a Launch Elite using the stock HDMI cable to my spare Magnavox 27" ...

Any ideas/theories?

try and diagnose the problem with the composite or hdmi or component whichever of those you are not currently using, use it! if your TV only has component and composite and you switch to composite (as it sounds like your currently using component) and it still does it, try switching inputs on your TV. if that doesn't work maybe try borrowing a new cable from a friend (assuming of course you have checked the cable connections at both ends on your own cable of course before hand) if that isn't a possibility, maybe go to the store dish out the cash to buy a new cable, if it works great if not take it back as it's a deffective product (even if it is your system somehow, it doesn't work) make sure of course of the return policy before hand, in most cases you won;t even need to say it doesn't work, just say you had a change of heart! If the problem still persists I'm not really sure what to say :S but that should help diagnose if it's a cable or connection problem!
