I'm at my dad's office setting up furniture for him and stuff. I go to use his computer and I start typing some stuff and I keep wondering why I'm making typos.

Turns out the G and H keys got put on backwards.

😕

Can anyone remind me of the command to get into the startup file while I'm here?

Thanks, I kept typing in mscfg and it wasn't coming up.

Also, any ideas as to why when I go to control panel I get "Invalid parameter. (SM-RC_EINVAL)(11)." ? I knew I needed to reformat, but now I definitely need to.

Physically they were wrong. I don't need to look at the keyboard when I type, I type 100+ WPM, usually in the 120s

I popped them back in place already 😉

And GigaCluster, do you not understand? They were put on the keyboard backwards, so everytime I hit where the g should be, an h showed up, and vice versa. I didn't figure it out until about 10 minutes later. It's after 11 and I'm tired.

Do YOU not understand? If you can type without looking at the keys, then why would matter what they said?

YOU obviously do not understand how keyboards work. Sleep more.

what i think he means is that hp wired the keyboard backwards. so, when pressing the key to the right of 'f', an 'h' pops up.

at least, that is the only way to salvage this thread from being the self-wtfpwnage of the year.

I don't think that's what he means.
Self-wtfpwnage complete.

If this post is a joke, it's a stupid one.

If it's a parody, 0/10, it's a stupid one.

If it's not a joke, the poster is a stupid one.

If it's a nef, it's still a stupid one.

Gave a gappy time reformatting your gard drive.

I just realized that I'm frequently correctly accused of providing criticism without propsing fixes. Here are your fixes.
