GFX to hdmi reciewer and hdmi/DP to projector?

I am using the desktop computer as source for film, connected to a projector via hdmi, and the reciewer via optical.

Was wondering if i can connect to the reciewer via hdmi and the projector via second hdmi or DP (with adapter)?

The reason is i can then upgrade computer and projector to newer hdmi standard without changing the reciewer.

Is that doable?

Ok the trick is to extend the display to two displays. One goes to projector another to avr.
But i have 2 displays. Monitor and projector. Can i extend just the two displays avr and projector but keep the monitor not extended?
I have rx470.
