I dont wanna hear ppl opinions at 1280x1024..noway..or 1440x900

ok, upgraded from AMD, Opty 175@2.62GHz, DDR478 some....DFI Ultra-D, 8800GTS gfx

major issue has been R6 Vegas..it took me from (Sandy 3700+, 2,9GHz and 7900GT) to (opty + 8800GTS) - R6 Vegas played well(w/o shadows...wow..put them on and fps down 2-3 times)

less than a week after upgrade Im thinking upgrade not ok....i SEE change in fps, some 10-15%...but from 1680 rez, going from 70 to 80 fps isnt much, especially paying 450$

I know, lowering to 1280x1024 and i would see things fly around....and even if I had GTX, not too much diff...all I wanna say: save your bucks(if you still have X2 AMD) + 8800 series

I think at such high res, your CPU bottleneck is probably not much at all. But C2D is gonna be faster on virtually everything else. Like they to speed up games, just get a better g-card.
