i'm putting together a new computer and haven't gotten my video card yet (9600 pro)... i want to use gforce4 mx 400 32mb temparily to boot it up, set bios and maybe install win xp? is this not a good thing to do? the display properties on the computer i had the gforce4 hooked upto said agp 4x, but will using it mess up my albatron board (it says it has agp protection?).

also can i install win xp with out installing the video card drivers, as i will be using a different video card when it arrives?

any advice will be appreciated.

That Geforce card is 1.5V so you should be fine, just make sure you uninstall your Nvidia drivers before removing the card and installing the ATI card and you'll be fine. Hope this helps...
