Gforce 3

I loaded up the new drivers the other night, and I'm running DX9a. I'm a little confused because when I look at my GForce 3 it's telling me that I'm running DX8.1, while everything else is telling me that I'm running DX9.... is this normal, or am I missing something.

The Geforce3 is a DirectX8.1 compliant card. But if you use DX9 it will run fine, though it won't gain any benefit.

i had the same problem... go to the ditectx page and download the dxwebsetup which has file size 10kb-16....kb something instead of 290kb-...kb something.

infact the 10kb-16.. setup it will actually download a 291kb file but i think it will solve ur problem, it did solve mine!!
