Gforce 3 agp x and fast write probs

I have set the mobo bios at 4x agp and fastwrite enabled but sisoft sandra and powerstrip both say that it is running agp 1x and no fastwrite. I have tried both the latest detonator xp drivers and the hercules ones aswell. I get a score of 6068 on 3dmark 2001, would these changes make much difference?. your help please.

You should try it with fastwrites disabled,this will improve stability and you really won`t get much speed benefit even with fastwrites enabled.You can also install the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers (4.38) if you wish, make sure you install the AGP driver in the 4 in 1 drivers in turbo mode.
