Got into an accident late monday(other drivers fault).
Called up the Hartford 8:30AM yesterday and reported it and got a claim #. I was told to call back a different number at 12 to speak to the adjuster.
I called the number at 12. "We are sorry that is a commercial account. We will transfer it over there and if an adjuster doesn't call you back by 4 let us know".
4pm I call back and get the number for commercial accounts and call them. After 30 minutes of being on hold waiting to speak to somebody i sick my insurance company on them. They make some inquires and get the managers name and extension at commercial services but tell me that the office hours are 7:45-4:30
Flash forward to today I call the manager and her extension and get redirected to another phone number(Fsckin bastards lied). I spell out her name and get her voice mail. Call the number and wait 10 minutes for anyone to pick up and they tell me that they closed that claim and sent it back to Hartford OMNI(the original number I called).
I call back Hartford OMNI and they can't find the claim and they say the policy number is for commercial accounts. So I call back the original agent I opened with and she is checking to find out where my claim is.
So I have a car that is probably totaled and the insurance company liable is not wanting to acknowledge itor send an adjuster....and the local fsckin Enterprise only has a large truck for rental....
