Hello all,

First of all thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

Last few weeks I have been having troubles while playing games with my computer which all of a sudden simply restarted. Few days before my computer didn't want to start up at all, the restarts were getting more and more frequent. To be honest I didn't know what to do about it so I thought I'd just do nothing (which I'm pissed about now). At present my computer doesn't want to start up at all, little bit more specified: my computer is making noise and everything, but my desktop is showing 'no signal'. Also the lights (a red one and a green one) in front of my computer are not on at all any more, whereas normally when all was functioning the green light was on all the time. Note: power supply or desktop problems --> no.

I am like 99% sure it's all having to do with my videocard. Why? Because the computer was only seeming to have problems while playing games. Watching YouTube stuff or doing my coursework with Word no problems whatsoever occured.

My videocard is integrated in my motherboard, which makes (my) life more difficult.
Motherboard: GF7100P-M7S

Anyone facing similar problems and anyone know what steps I must take to overcome my problems?

Thanks in advance,

Casper

P.S. I'm Dutch (might be a reason for my shitty English :p)

Replace the failing onboard video with a discrete video card, added to the PCI-e slot. Alternatively, you could replace the entire motherboard....but easier just to add a new video card.

Add a video card. Maybe you can obtain an old pci type video card. (Look for one from late 1990s)

first you need to clear your cmos settings. (unplug power cord and remove the motherboard battery for about 30 seconds)
