GF4ti4600 run without fan?

Can I run my GFti4600 without the fan running? I'm only going to be using this PC for videos/graphics (photoshop/illustrator) work... (no gaming) will it be a problem? The fan is the loudest thing on my system, and i would rather have it not running.
 
While the Zalman replacement heatpipe system works fine, do *not* try just turning off the fan and running the card. It will overheat and likely suffer damage (this happened to my brother's Ti4200 when the fan burned out).
 
hehehe ooops, i just tried it, and it ran fine for half an hour... i touched the heatsinks.. yow... hot as heck

thanks, i'll checkout zalman. hopefully it's the low profile heatsink. since it's for my shuttle case.
