Hi I wanna to get real opinion to a performance differences between these low and high memory Ti4200 solutions ,,, mainly if somebody have found Unreal2003 test , I am really interested in it. In future games I think overclocked Ti4200 64mb will be as fast as overclocked Ti4200 128mb,, but 64mb version will benefit from higher overclocking and 128 from larger memory, what you personally think??/
Difference either of 128 mb will be 5 % higher score not more, also in Doom3 or is it possible to see difference about 20 or more %?in new games?Thank for your advices,, I really can buy here ti4200 64mb,,in this small country (Slovakia) in which is problem to get in time video card which you wanna right now.
I wanna see comparison benches, also wanna heard your opinion, thanks a lot:cool::frown::confused::cool:

I haven't seen any benchmarks that compare the two cards but I know for a fact that, in todays games, the 64 meg version is faster.

The 128 meg version has 4ns RAM that runs at a default of 444mhz
The 64 meg version has 3.5ns RAM that runs at a default of 500mhz

Video memory bandwidth is the biggest determining factor in frame rates and 3d mark scores.

And, in today's games, 64 megs of memory is more than enough.

Well, before you buy anything, I would read this thread.

It pretty much breaks down the difference between the two cards. I went with more memory, because I think it will be more important in the future, especially as I like the look of anti-aliasing. You might want the negligable difference in overclocking potiential. To each his own.

Thanks for your advice, I have found really interesting benchmarks, and 128MB will be hell lot of faster in future, really LOT OF, because in Code Creatures demo was on 64mb slower 2,5times then on 128MB one, large memory intensive benchmark, but future games will be also,, on today games in all cards are on performance level in 1024 res. to 1600x1200 about no big lost of fps,, also in 1280 is 1,5fps better 64 mb, but in 1600 is 4 fps worst, and got 31fps compared to 35, we are here talking about huge difference,, not 100 against 105fps, this is another situation,, this game is CPU dependent, and also in ultra resolution memory also. In 1024 It gives you 38 fps, and in 1600x1200 35fps, I will use for this great beautifull game 1600 no compromise.
Another game JK2,, in settings on very high detail textures 41fps on 64mb model, and abou over 70 on 128mb, also beautifull look of game in 1600x1200 very high textures,, and 41 fps cannot compare to 80%faster one.
128mb is far more better not for future, but even also for now!!!!!
Thanks for your advice, I will wait till 128mb Ti4200 will be in our small country avaiable also.
