GF4 Ti4200 & WIn98 SE D3D Problems

Hi all:

I'm having a weird problem with my 4200 and 98 SE. D3D will lock up, even DXDiag will lock. I think its because the drivers are forcing sideband addressing on and I can't shut it off, not even with RivaTuner. Is there a GF4 driver that does not force sidebanding on as default? I've tried 29.80 and the MS certified ones.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Try powerstrip it seems to be the best for tuning all settings on most vid cards. What mother board do you have ? If you have a VIA KT133 or newer board try here http://www.mods4me.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=3 you can changre the chip set registers on a whole wack of settings.
