Guys:

Just ordered the Gainward Ti4200 128mb from Newegg. I'm currently running the 23.11 drivers which so far are the fastest I've had. I don't think the Ti4200 will be recognized by the 23.11's so which are the best for the new card?

Thanks in advance!

Best drivers are different for each person ,however I would try the official 29.42 drivers which are working great for me.

The 2890s are the fastest drivers available but the 2980s are a bit more compatible (although I never really had any issues with the 2890s).

:D I'd always stick with the latest official (non-beta) nVidia releases, if they seem problematic the next ones down or the latest official drivers from the manu website.

;) Apparently v29 drivers are the best visually and have great support for ALL generations of nVidia unlike some of the older drivers which could prove problematic with the newest cards.

:) I had to use Detonator Destroyer to get my 4200 working in all games, I used v28.90 that came with the card but will give v29 a chance when I can. 3Dmark2001 seems to crash whenever I increase resolution or enable any kind of AA, not sure why but v29 may fix it.

Thanks for that last link, looks like the 29.80's are the ones to get. BTW, the Ti4200 is not recognized by the 23.11's right?
