Here is my setup:

P4-2.6 GHz
1 GB RAM
Abit Geforce 4 TI 4200 AGP connected to a Sony 36" TV thru a S-Video cable (this is the only "monitor" connected)
Hauppauge PVR-150MCE
80 GB HD

Here is my problem:
I just installed a clean copy of MCE 2005. Very thing looks good on the TV. As soon as I install the latest nvidia drivers for XP (not MCE), and reboot, the TV screen becomes corrupted, showing a series of blue and white bars and lines. During the boot process the screen is normal, but as soon as Windows comes up, the screen becomes corrupted. If I boot into safe mode, the screen is normal. If I uninstall the nvidia drives (thru safe mode) and boot normally, the screen is normal.

I tried connecting a CRT monitor thru a VGA cable to see what was going on. In the driver settings it appears that it doesn't detect the TV. I have to enable the Force TV Detection for it to show up. Then when I "activate" the TV through the driver settings I still get a corrupted screen.

I would like to be able to install the nvidia drivers so that I can still play 3d games on the TV.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Rich
