I was surprised to see that the drivers that came with my Visiontek GF4 4400 do not allow
OC in the windows setup. ( miss that ) Is there a way to enable it?
The drivers that came with card are 2750's

I tried powerstrip 3.15 and it seems to work but with a few what is this thrown in LOL
You have engine clock and memory clock..with DDR memory I understand that 300x2 = 600
the card does that fine. Up from the 550 the card came set.
But the engine clock is also half? It says 137 and I am assuming that its the 275 that is stock
core speed. I went to 150 that would give it 4500 speed with no problems if it in fact double
and the core is at 300, but I am not sure why it reports this way.

One other question once set do you have to keep PS running to maintain settings on memory?
That is why I was wanting to set it in the Geforce tabs like I did with my 2 ultra..

I can go 4500 speeds with no problem. Maybe a little more after a test run or two.
man this is nice so far.

thanks for any and all help

You can d/ld powerstrip or rivatuner and clock that way. Or you can use coolbits registry hack. To enable coolbits to to start/run and type regedit and hit enter. Then go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak

then create a new DWORD value and name it Coolbits. Then double click it and change the value to 3. Then press F5 to refresh your registry and close the window. Now you should have the overclocking tab in the Display Control pannel window like you had before.

If you D/L the Coolbits reg hack, all you have to do is double-click the file and it will install it into the registry for you. No need to go hacking through the registry..Coolbits download
