GF4 nView dual monitor and capturing

Is there a way to view and capture video-in while in dual monitor mode? I have tried the dual monitor mode thru Win XP and I can view and capture on the primary display, but as soon as I drag it to the secondary mode, I get a message advising that my display adapter doesn't support it.

Then, I try using my Geforce4's nView and try to horizontally span, but I don't get any video on either monitor now.

Am I missing some settings?

It's quite common in most dual display setups to not be able to have video on the secondary monitor.

I've heard that it's Windows itself which does not support 2nd monitor video...yet it's not always true....


I've been running dual and triple monitor setups for several years now and i've seen freaky stuff like you describe...unfortunately, that's what it comes down to...you just have to do all your video watching / editing / capturing on the main monitor.
