Hello, well here's the problem, i finally got my long-ass rca cable to hook my computer up to my tv. However, when i try to set everything up in nvidia display settings i get no tv-out! The tv flickers when i try to detect displays. I'm using a svideo to rca cable to hook up and get this, TVTOOL WORKS! I really wanna use twin view not tvtool, so if anyone has any suggestions that'd be great, thanks!

here's what you can do. try to open the nview options. when you see that the 2nd monitor is already detected, right click the secondary monitor then click 'select output device'. Since you are using an "rca" cable, select 'composite out' instead of 'auto-detect'. This will solve your problem. I think the reason behind this is because the auto detect function select svideo by default

Have fun.

Don't know too much about Tv-out, but I do know that the Gainward suggests a cable no longer than 6 feet.

I'm using a Gainward Geforce4 4200 64MB VIVO.

Cable length doesn't really matter, only for potential signal loss. The thing is TvTool works fine, but as i said before i want twinview through nvidias drivers

ITS NOT POSSIBLE THAT THE TV RECIEVES SIGNAL IF THE SECOND MONITOR IS NOT DETECTED YET. Read carefully my previous post. Believe me on this, i've experienced the same problem before.
