GF4 4200 AGP 8x wait or not?

Just read the press release about the new Nvidia agp 8x gpus. I was just about to purchase a msi gf4 4200 128 vid card, but now i am not sure if i should wait for the new 8x ones. Will there be much performance difference compared to a 4x? the moneys burning in my pocket, but i'll wait a bit longer if the new ones are markedly better.

To be quite honest, I think that right now, AGP8x is PURE marketing hype. It's something that will be an improvement in the future, but not immediately. not worth your money.
You'd have to have an agp8x board and even then I doubt there would be an improvement that you could see with your eyes.
