UPDATE: 240 core, 540 mem - 10,130 3DMarks (2001SE) - zero visible artifacts. Will run 250/550+, but shows artifacting.

9804 3DMarks with my TI200 @ 232MHz core and 505Mhz memory. The default is 175MHz core and 400 mem. Talk about hardcore overclocking!

I'm using a custom built 60mm delta black label vid card cooling solution with it mounted with 4 bolts+nuts and electrical tape covering the screws and padding on the top. In addition I have a blue orb on the normal side a cooler is on. It works really good. I'll have to get some pics some time.

CPU is a 2.53GHz P4 @ 2.88GHz with 1.525V, retail cooler on an Abit IT7. My Alpha 8942 is coming in tomorrow. :D

That is a great score but I don't think it is due to the video card as much as the overclocked P4. I am running a Ti200 with stock cooling at 230/540 but I get 8550 3DMarks due to my slow XP1600+.

That's one hell of an overclock for stock cooling.. especially the memory. What brand is it?

Mine's a Visiontek RevB. I'll have to try higher for the memory. The core would lock up with the stock cooling I had on here past 215MHz, but with the 60mm Delta I can go up to 232. I haven't tried higher yet, I think I'll try out another program other than powerstrip next.

Mine is also a Visiontek, bought early this spring. I had another Visiontek from last Thanksgiving that didn't overclock as high. Actually, the card is capable of higher speeds but I have backed it off 5-10Mhz off for as a safety margin.

Truthfully a Major part of that score is probably associated with your CPU. My Leadtek G3 Ti200 has been running at 230core/540 Mem for the past 4-5 months nown on stock cooling. Try useing NVmax soon as my computer boots it clocks it to 230/540. I dont have the same system you have for cooling it but I do have REALLY good airflow around my card. there is quite a bit of air flowing across it on top and bottom I'd hopefully get more if I did something like you did. that is a nice mod.

Emo, How did you get your score so high? I only get around 7800 with my Ti200 clocked at 230/540 and my 1600+ clocked around 1.5Ghz...

Not to thread crap...

My Ti200 can hit 244/558. I wouldn't say 100% Stable, you can see artifacts, but able to run programs.

I run it at 100% stable at 240/540, but for some reason, UT2k3 demo was the ONLY program that had artifacts at that speed, though it may have been driver issues (was running 40.41s). Nothing else had artifacts at all.

No artifacts with 225/530 though.

This is pretty much stock cooling, I threw my own "homemade" (Choped up old Pentium Pro Heatsink) ramsinks on there. I don't think they do much though...

I just noticed, you have a fan on the back of your PCB, I also did that, haha. Though, mines a bit more "ghetto". its the fan sitting on some screws, and under the screws is some electrical tape, so the metal on the screws don't touch anything. And Geeze, I have that same clear fan you have... are you using a case from Newegg? Same fan they supplied me with.... BTW, do you know how much air those push? Thanks.

I do lack 80 or so 3d marks behind you. Maybe your extra 900mhz helps... ;), darn Massive OCing Northwoods!!! Check my sig for my score...

I'm curious, do you run any DC projects? I would like to know how fast a 2.9ghz p4 cracks a WU in SETI@Home....

Arg, getting off topic! Great score! I really wanna hit the 10k mark... but... eh... so close, yet so far.

I bet with some tweaking in bios and RivaTuner, (I didn't have fast writes enabled at the time), I could hit 10k...

Nice score! You gonna try and hit 10k?

Guys, I never said that was the highest I could go. I'm still working up.. I never stop my overclocks until I get artifacts. I only judge an overclock if there's NO artifacting. And.. the good news..

I'm able to get 240 core 540 mem from the Ti200 with a new overclocking program, GeForce Tweaker. In addition, there are NO artifacts.

10,130 3DMarks

Update: Tried 250/550 and got artifacts.. same with 245/550.. but 245 545 is fine in 3DMark, but not in ut2k3. For the heck of it I tried 260/550. Ewww.. even 2D artifacts. I don't feel like running 3DMark through another loop tonight, but I will soon.. and update my score as well :)

Just run 3D Mark again and got 8602. I think the scores are influenced by the fsb and cpu speed to a great extent. My XP1600 is unlocked and I run it at 10x156Mhz. My ram is at the fastest CL2 settings (Crucial 768M).

Hi guys,

well, I'm using my PINE Ti200 at 225/530 on a P4 1.6A@2.14 and get "only" 8905 3DMarks. BTW, it's stock cooling and 40.41 drivers. Will try the 40.71 today...

Congratulations to everybody who get's higher, but I have seen that the 3DMarks are very dependent on the CPU speed.

its not the card, its you cpu that takes the score above 10k

i have a gf3 ti200 @ 235/535 and i can only get 8300 or so 3dmarks and i'm running a axp 1600 @ 1743 w/ 166fsb

ocing your fsb will raise the score really fast, i got maybe 500 or more points just increasing my fsb from 133 to 166 (can't remember is was a while ago)

but hey my computer plays UT2k3 just fine at 1280X1024 32bit, have yet to see a slow up, scores mean nothing........... seening it in action is everything

I guess I didn't try hard enough. I took my Leadtek to 255/490 and got 8184 3Dmarks with a 1.6A at 2.1 I have the older drivers for my card.

I'm a little partial but I think Leadtek makes a kick ass card. ;)

here are my scores... Woot woot..

Your link brings up the page to modify my information.. not a compare URL ;)

By the way my P4 is now at 2.91GHz with 1.55V and is rock stable in Prime95. This is with my Alpha 8942, which seems to have helped a bit.

I can run 3GHz fine, but I have to do 1.675V to do so, and that's a bit too much for me.

I dont think this too extreme or hardcore OC. Extreme/hardcore OC = LN2. But nice OC anyway. You could OC your P4 to 3.3GHz or maybe even more, you should try.

There's no way it will do 3.3GHz. Sorry. That's something that a C1 chip is capable of, not a 2.26/2.4B/2.53 without watercooling. I've tested my hardware to its limits and 3.01GHz with 1.675V is the max it will do. Plus, this thread was about my Ti200.. the P4 is another story.

240MHz core and 540MHz is very extreme for air with no artifacts. You don't see many Ti200's hitting that speeds on air.

*Wonders why people are only impressed nowadays when it's LN2 or water cooling* (Shakes head)

.. I'm also noting that there seems to be more and more thread crapping going on lately, maybe I'm just getting too old for these forums and the 14 year olds are taking over. I think it's time I run for cover.

My Gainward PowerPack Geforce3 Ti450 hits 530/535 with stock cooling. It has nice looking ramsinks, gonna throw a crystal orb on there and try for 250 core. 3DMark is 8300 with an 1800MHz XP. Dannybin1742 I agree, as long as it rocks in games at high resolutions, that's what counts. Unreal Tournament at 1280 x 1024 x 32 x 2XFSAA is hammered out at 90fps average, 170fps or so with FSAA off!
