GF3 Ti200 corruption playing any 3D games

Fan is fine, still running and no noise from it. Apparently the card has a life-time warranty. Maybe they'll replace it with something better 🙂

Better hope its not PNY that gives you your "lifetime" warranty.

EDIT: How are your case temps? Try lowering the clock speeds (or run at stock if you're overclocking) of your card to see if it helps any.

I've found the ti200's to run EXTREMELY cool compared to other cards. My reason: my ti200 in my gf's computer runs WITHOUT the fan spinning at OVERCLOCKED temps. Maybe its just my card, but i dont think that is entirely likely. If you can, test the card in another computer. I mean it could be heat (maybe the heatsink isnt on right anymore) but i'm leaning towards some other means for this corruption. Is you GF3 oced?

Case is nice and cool. Don't think I ever installed coolbits to OC the card so it should be running at stock. The company was not PNY, it's even worse, it's VisionTek who doesn't honor the lifetime warranty since the company changed hands. 🙁 DAMN!!

Definitely sounds heat related. If the heatsink is held on with pins, try removing it and looking at the condition of the thermal paste. It could be that it has dried up and is now more of an insulator than conductor.
