GF3 Ti 200 spanks the GF4 MX440

I recently bought the new geforce 4 mx 440 and when I replace my Radeon 64ddr vivo with it on my P3 1000mhz I noticed that it only ran slightly faster than the radeon. I took the card to work and installed it on a P4 1.7ghz and there it only ran 20% faster than my radeon. I tried all new drivers, ref and what not. I decided this card is a POS (as do most people here) and took it back to circuit city and got store credit. I went to another curcuit city and they had a PNY GF3 Ti200 so I decided to get that being that the reviews were favorable. Plus it had a $20 rebate and a promo stick of 128 meg pc133 ram! So after the rebate it is the same price as the newer gf4 mx440 plus free ram! Cant beat that. Anyway, on my p3 1ghz system at home this baby was at least 100% faster than the radeon and at work its more like 200% faster! This card blew away the gf4 mx 440. So if people are looking for a cheap graphics solution then please stay away from the gf4 mx 440. Also, the PNY gf3 ti200 looks beautiful. Its nice and black with a nice fan hs combo and hs for the ram. Decent card IMO.

At least the GF2 MX was actually a crippled GF2!

Says me running a GF2MX!

oh well, best i could afford 15 months ago!

The PNY Ti200 is a great little card I just put one in a Epox 8KHA+ XP1700 I built for a guy, Some of the PNY Ti200's are using the 3.8nc memory, Just playing around I tried a Asus 8200 that I was ready to put in a Dragon+ in 3dmark the Asus ran 10,700 and the PNY 9,800, Bumped it up to 200/450 and it went 10,300 I didn't want to push something that is for someone else but at that speed the card was just warm to the touch, So it looks to be underclocked, First one I have used but won't be the last
