GF3: New heatsink or fan?

My bro recently got a 9800 pro and gave me his old GeForce 3 Ti. I had an GeForce 2 Ti so not a huge upgrade but ill take it. After I put it in I hear a weird whizzing sound so I take it back out. The fan seems to have a tough time turning and I mess around with it and I break the fan off. Im not sure if I should try and get a similar fan or go for a whole new heatsink. The thing is though that the fan was a certain size on top of the heatsink. If I can find a fan close to it, it would probably be a lot less expensive then getting a whole new deal and putting it on. I dont plan on overclocking it but I still dont want it to make my system temp any higher.
It is kind of hard to understand what Im talking about so here is the link to a review with a picture of the fan/heatsink. I have the ti 200 model but its pretty much identical. Also what about all of those ram heatsinks? Would I have to remove them to put on a heatsink?

Get a Vantec Iceberg 4. When my GF3 Ti200 fan started dying I tried to clean it out but didn't work, so I just put the Vantec Iceberg on it and I got it to overclock a bit more. I wanna get rid of those annoying LED's though

It should come off with a bit of force, though not extreme. if your heatsink is clipped on with mounting holes, it won't be on there that tight. If it's stuck on with some sort of thermal glue, and no mounting holes...it might quite tough. I've heard of people using a hairdryer to sorta soften the stuff and then prying it off.

My GF4 heatsink had this crunchy yellow stuff, so if you hear some crunching or creaking it's not the end of the world, just dont rip half the chip off with it

I love my crystal orb. Only problem with it I have is it could have a bigger heatsink. Oh, and this isn't at all what you asked, but definitely throw some homebrew ramsinks on that biatch.

And if it's stuck onto the chip, hold a hairdryer under the card and blow it towards the bottom of the solder for the chip. The thermal adhesive SHOULD let up enough to let you stick something smooth in (butter knife works great) and pry it off.

I took an 80mm L1a and glued, taped, and zip-tied it to a bent slot cover and put it over my heatsink. Great airflow with almost no noise, plus it was free since I already had the fan and spare slot cover.
