Have been using this setup for around 2 months with no problems.
then out of the blue today this problem started.
Specs:
Win2000 Pro
xp 1600+
Geforce3 64Mb
512Mb DDR 2100
Det 41.x Drivers
800x600 - Tru Color 16/True Color 32
Was using Netmeeting with Camcorder,then out of the blue the system restarted. (Heat maybe?)
then after restarting,i tried to run Counter-strike and got the "Your video Card is unable to run OpenGL" something like that.
And also noticed that some of my taskbar icons weren't the right colors as before.they seem sorta distorted (Looks like 256 Colors).as well as some dekstop icons.
Tried different resolutions/Colors with same problem.
I then uninstalled 41.x Drivers and put in 30.82.
i'm able to play CS fine and all,but the icons and such are still kinda distorted
Also,after it auto restarted on me,i got the "NV Wizard" from Nivida that popped up.
first time this has ever popped up.
i disabled that,and removed it from startup.
but still same probs.
Problem was fixed by using netmeeting to share/unshare desktop,then icons was restored
