Both are priced similar, but the GF2Ti has a better T&L engine, doesn't it? BTW, this is going in my Athlon 700MHz rig. Which is the better choice?

Do a search, there has been a bunch of different posts on this same issue. I would say the G4MX.

Actually, I didn't realize it, but the GF4 review by Anand has benchmarks of the GF2Ti vs. the GF4 MX440. They were both pretty close, with the GF2Ti coming out on top in Unreal II, a game I'm looking forward to playing. Also, the price difference is not worth the performance difference, with a GF2Ti going for about $30-$40 less than a GF4 MX440. Guess I answered my own question.

Get the cheaper one. Save your pennies for the GeForce 4 Titanium that you know you're going to be dying for in a few short months. Or you can just get the GeForce4MX and impress all your technologically impaired friends by saying it's the GeForce4. Of course, they'll stare at you and ask what that means.
