GF2 Pro and XP

Anyone tried this yet? I'm curious about what drivers I should use etc... I'm loading XP sometime this week and want to be prepared...

XP needs special, Microsoft-certified, drivers to work with the OS... Well, they fear you with a huge warning explaining that you'll go to Hell when you die if you're not doing what they tell you. That's why they will distribute Microsoft-certified drivers on Microsoft-certified website (i.e. WindowsUpdate). For what? Microsoft-certified control. That's why you should hate XP. 😛

So, W2K drivers will work with XP, but maybe not as good as you would want to, because Microsoft-certified could cripple some software with Microsoft-certified stuff that could, for example, stop a program from running unless they are using Microsoft-certified drivers. However, for the current beta, W2K non-Microsoft-certified drivers should do the work.

(I'm not kidding 'bout that, and they want to control some other things, sadly)

So far the motherboard has been stable. I started installing stuff last night and was really tired so I left the motherboard running 3D Mark 2001 with my Geforce 2 Ultra and it did not crash when I checked on it this morning. It crashed a couple of times while running messanger in the brackground. I turned that off and it hasn't crashed at all since. It has been 24 hours now so it hasn't been that long but so far I like it.
