GF2 Pro 64mb versus GF2 TI 64mb or "best video card for under 100 bucks"

Howdy, as the title states, my friend wants me to determine the best gaming video card for under 100 bucks

He's not hardcore, so there's no real need for the GF3 TI 200 or GF2 Ultra, and they're out of his price range anyway

Any tips? I'm not really familiar with the TI's versus the Pro's (and i'm assuming the MX400's just plain stink right?)

Thanks!

The on the market NVidia products order of battle as I know it. Could be wrong.

GeForce2 MX200
GeForce2 MX400
GeForce2 GTS-V
GeForce2 GTS
GeForce2 Pro
GeForce2 Ultra (tie)
GeForce2 Ti200 (tie)
GeForce3 Ti200
GeForce3
GeForce3 Ti500

So basically the GF2 Ti200 is faster than the Pro.

A few corrections to the above, the "classic" GF2 MX you missed, and it performs very slightly slower then the MX400.
The GF2 Ti performs very slightly faster then the GF2 Pro, it is clearly slower then the GF2 Ultra.

The GF2 Ti is the obvious choice over a GF2 Pro, as it's cheaper at present and offers pretty much the same performance... occasionally 1-2% faster.

The GF2 Pro has a 200 MHz core and 200 MHz DDR mem.
The GF2 Ti200 is 250 / 200, but no architectural changes that will make any difference.

Like Rand said, it's slower than the Ultra, all the GF2 cards are mem bandwidth bound, and since the Ti200 and Pro are equal in bandwidth, they'll be equal in most real world situations as well.
