is there any real performance gains from a 64mb gts card as opposed to the 32mb card? while i was reading some reviews about the radeon on anand's site, i saw that the performance of these two cards were very close. how is the price difference justified? maybe i'm reading an old review?

from what i can see from the reviews ive read is that at lower resolutions there really is no performance gain. but when getting into higher resolutions youll see the gap widening in the fps you get on oyur games. i hope this answers your question.

At higher resolutions it helps because textures can be stored on the graphics card instead of having to waste CPU cycles getting it from your main system RAM.
