GF2, can't install new drivers, HELP

I went to Nvidia's website and downloaded the newest drivers (12.42 for Win98) for my Geforce 2 GTS 32MB DDR. I downloaded the exe one. I go and uninstall my current drivers through "Add/Remove Programs" then I restart and ran the exe for the new drivers. But as soon as it starts it says "The InstallShield Engine (iKernal.exe) could not be launched. Error loading type Library /DLL".

I loaded up my old drivers, then tried installing it over those. Same thing. I tried downloading it again, same thing. Any ideas why it is doing this?

On the same note. I run Win2k/Win98SE dual boot. On Win2k, I have the latest drivers from the Nvidia website installed and everything looks much better. It's more crisp and it just looks a lot better. In Win98SE, things seem a little fuzzy, and I get a headache after a while. Is it just the drivers? Or what?

Thanks
