I told her at the start of the week that I was going to be working long hours this week, and she just called me and was criticizing me for staying (no-one else is here) so we can meet the shipment deadline tomorrow. Exscuse me, I would rather be over with you, but hello, I told my boss that we could meet this deadline, even if the power goes out, the network goes out, one guy leaves for coffee and a job interview, and YOU calling!

sigh.

Some girls are fvcking crazy like that. I completely agree with you... work is way more important, especially if you NEED to be there. She should better understand that it's a priority to you. Don't let her get pissed off at you. You should turn it around and get mad at her and tell her how much you're focused on work and stuff.
