Gf Experience: Do I just have bad taste in games, or....

is Geforce Experience that limited in titles?

I like the idea, but it only lists:
Half-Life 2
Portal 2

I also have:
about every Need for Speed Game back to Porsche Unleashed
Ark Survival Evolved
2 Star Wars Jedi Knight games

as a few examples. I know I don't have the latest games, but I was hoping for more.

So what about you folks: do you have a better selection on this app?

Mine has Kerbal, Batman Arkham games, Dirt games, Elite: Dangerous, Thief etc. All fairly modern, I guess.

The only game I have installed right now that isn't included is Star Citizen.

When I had GE installed, it only found the mainstream stuff I had (COD, MW) and pretty much ignored everything else (Arma, FSX and other 'sim' games.) Meh...

OK. I ignored it until a few weeks ago anyway. It just seemed like a good idea, but not if they aren't going to put some effort into it.

I really only use it for Shadowplay anyway. And sometimes I'm curious what the recommended settings are. It's nice that you can compare current game settings to their recommended to see how your choices compare.

If you have any knowledge of what you're doing whatsoever (and I would expect you would, being a member of a tech forum), GF Experience probably isn't the best tool for you anyway. I've tried it on a number of games and not once did it come up with settings similar to what I would opt for. It's especially egregious about trying to enable Nvidia features like TXAA and PCSS shadows at the expense of other effects, and the effect is both a framerate that dips below what I would prefer and a blurry image. No thanks. You're far better off to take a couple minutes setting up each game specifically to your liking within the game's own options menu and in the Nvidia control panel. GF Experience caters to a console convert who has zero interest in doing any setup whatsoever and doesn't really care what the game looks like.

Agreed. And I noticed similar things. AA suggestions through the roof. Not that my card has trouble with most of the games I play (Ark Survival Evolved being an exception, had to sacrifice some settings on that one), but it was just interesting to look at what they were suggestion. And leaving a bit disappointed, but curious as to what the community was seeing.

My Rise of Rome title isn't listed, Company of Heroes 1 isn't listed by Company of Heroes 2 is listed......really pathetic....

It had over half when I tried it, but I ended up not liking its presets for some of those, anyway, so I don't use it, now.

...in fact, I uninstalled it. Besides using it to update the drivers, I didn't use it anyway.

I had to scan the steam folder on my D drive.

D:\<whereEverYouPutIT>\Steam\steamapps\common

On my single harddrive boot, geforce experience seemed to automatically find most of my games without issue.

On this OS, there was only 5 games found until I added folders to the preference under games.

I dont have all my games downloaded on this drive but GE seem to cover some really obscure titles. Dont starve, Dont Starve Together, even Terraria. Plus a list of hits from TF2 to Mad Max.
