Gainward 4200 Ti, 128MB, 2.16GHz 2600+, 1GB pc 3200, 8RDA+, XP

Stock speed on vid card gave me around 1500
slight oc gave 1700 score
(AF off ,AA off , high performance mode selected on driver display, background apps. off)

(btw, what software or DOS procedure can I use to oc the vid card, I'm using the Gainward Expert Tool thing to tweak it now, but is there something better?)

looks around normal to me. i have a similar setup: exact same card, xp1700+ @2075mhz, XP, 512mb pc2700.

mine did 1777 i think. the gainward card can vary in its overclockability quite a bit. i have 2 of the same cards. 1 does 316/585, the other 316/545. download coolbits. its very easy to use and works better than the gainward tool.

Testing a DX8 video card with a DX9 benchmark is pointless, get a better video card and you'll see decent scores.

i really could care less about "decent scores". and i agree, it's pointless. however, newuser wanted to know how his scores compared to a similar system. i fail to see how getting "a better video card" would help with that question. i have no interest in replacing my ti4200, as it does just fine for now.
