GF 4 ti 4400 drivers...

Ok now i just recently installed my gainward gf4 4400 and windows xp into my system. Right after i installed i went and dl the most uptodate drivers off of nvidias website (28.32) and for some reason when i try to run 3dmark2000 or 3dmark 2001 my system hard crashes, 3dmark2000 goes right at the start of the benchmarks and 2001 usually gets into the dragothic one before it goes too. Now my question is are the drivers causeing this? Should i be using an earlier version for more stable use or is there something newer i dont know about? I mean my only eplanation has got to be the drivers... as its a fresh install of everything and the only thing running in the background is zonealarm, and i KNOW the card works. Any suggestions?

Well, athough I run Win2K and only have a lowly G3Ti200, I had a few quirks running a few games and 3dmark and just seemed to have a few subtle 'issues' when I got my card recently. The all cleared up for me when I got the beta Detonator driver. 28.40
