I cannot find any info on this card working in Windows XP - Does anybody have any info on where to find some drivers?

Any help would be appreciated

edit - Oh, yeah and the only reason I am using this outdated card is because it has RCA/S-video out and I need to connect an older PC To a TV and Reciever for MP3 playback/storage

Your 7800GT should def have S-Video/ TV-Out. Any modern card today starting with the FX series will have some sort of TV-Out.

TV-IN (VIVO) on the other hand isn't as common.

I checked out ATI's site for you and unfortunately it doesn't seem to have drivers for the Rage II+...you might try searching around for 3rd party drivers, but if that card doesn't support XP, it is probably for good reason. You also might want to give the Rage 128 or Rage Pro drivers....I don't remember what Chipset each is based on, but you may get luck :)

Good Luck,

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah the 7800gt has all the outputs but is on my gaming PC and this crappy Rage card is for an old PC that is being turned into an MP3/Emulator station for my Home Theatre area.

After further research it appears that this card will work on XP with no installed drivers, but the downside is that I have no control panel or any way to change video settings besides the Windows XP diplay properties - I guess I will find out in a day or two when I recieve the card.

Just choose Win XP home/pro and next you choose Legacy (discontinued)
Obviously I tried this first....

if you look there is no Rage II or II+ drivers - Only Rage Pro and 128 models - It seems these cards were given no XP support at all.

Thanks for the reply anyway!
