Getting windows to recognize an old RAID array

To make a long story short I had some serious problems (windows will not run, etc) and I need to reformat my boot drive which happens to be a RAID 0 array. I wanted to retrieve data off of it before formatting, so I put in another HD and installed windows hoping it would recognize the RAID drive and I could copy files off of it. The second windows install is up and running, but no sign of my original disk.

Anyone know how I can get windows to see the RAID drive??....The data on it should be fine.

I'm running an Abit KR7A-RAID mobo, which has a built in Highpoint RAID controller.
The two drives in the RAID 0 array are on the two RAID IDE channels, and the extra drive I put in there to do another windows install is on the regular IDE channel 1.

I can explain in more detail if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Might need to install the raid controller drivers on your new XP install. If they are in place, it should see the array automatically. If it doesn't, then maybe boot from the RAID array and copy from that to the drive on your mobo ide channel 1.
