Hi, in a problem here. I am getting this weird noise from my case . I removed the side and I made sure that no wires are touching any fans or anything but still getting this humming buzz noise.
Following is my config :
CPU : Intel Core i7 4771
Mobo : Gigabyte Z87 OC
RAM : 16 GB DDR 3 Corsair Vengeance.
GPU : Asus GTX 760
SSD : 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro
HDD : WD 4 TB
Cooling : Corsair H100i
PSU: 700 W Cooler Master.
Also , sometimes the humming noise stops by itself and then after sometime, it starts by itself. Its quite annoying.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Here is the temperature log if its needed : http://prntscr.com/61u7jr

Could be a fan bearing or even the sound system picking up some noise or interference. Then there is the hard drive or the DVD spinning. Sometime the motherboard tells the fans to run faster. It could be related to the CPU running hotter.

What is the case, and how do you have fans set up in it? If it has multiple places to install hard drives, where is your 4TB HDD?

Leave the case off. When it buzzes, try stopping some fans, and see if any fix the noise. You can just gently press down on the center hub, and the friction from your skin will be enough to stall it. The PSU fan would likely be the only one you can't try that on, due to the fan grill.

To pinpoint noise problems I hold up the cardboard core of a paper towel roll to my ear and move around the other end until I find the offending component. Perhaps the water pump?

I had weird noises coming from my system. It seemed like the fan was touching the wires after a week of inspection I took out the power supply blowed it with a blower. There was a ton of dust removed and then the noise was gone . Voila... Probably you should try that too.
