Ok.... I reinstalled XP on the machine and it killed the Vista loader.... I tried 10 different things with bootrec and that good stuff. Finally I had to run the automatic boot repair utility and that worked so Vista loads, however now XP won't load. I ran VistaBootPro and manually added XP, but when I select XP the machine just reboots.

I have tried bootrec /rebuildbcd but that just says Number of Windows Installation Detected: 0

Any advice?

Edit: After messing around even more.... found the key. I copied ntldr boot.ini and ntdetect to the Vista drive and now it works fine with loading either one.
