Getting video to output with asus p5vdc-x motherboard

I just bought a Pentium D 805 to go with an asus p5vdc-x motherboard. The motherboard is an ultra atx motherboard. This can be put in a normal atx case right?

Also, I put in the CPU fine and have the memory in and am doing a test to make sure it will turn on. I see the led light turn on on the motherboard, but no video is outputting to the monitor. I have tried 3 different video cards and none have done anything. I have tried two AGP and one PCI video card and nothing comes out. The CPU fan is going and when I have the video card hooked up the video card fan is spinning so video card seems to be in alright.

What could be the reason video is not outputting with any video card? What are some possible things I could try? I have two DDR2 512 sticks of RAM in there.

If the light is on the green led on the motherboard, this should mean everything is fine for startup right? Its been a while since I installed these from scratch so I dont really remember the minimal parts of the setup needed for initial bootup without anything attached to it.
