Getting to forums now almost impossible

I keep having trouble loading threads, too. On a few occasions, it's frozen Firefox - I have to release my IP address to unlock Firefox, then renew, and try to reload.

I've been having major problems accessing the forums since Wednesday, but I've not thought to try and come in here and see if anyone else was having problems. Most of the time accessing the forums is a trial of frustration, having to wait a minute or more for it to break through and load the content. Sometimes, I just give up. On occassion, though, it loads up fine, and a couple of clicks later, it's slow as can be.

I've not had any problems with any other sites and bandwidth issues, and I've cleared the temp files and cookies on my comp just for good measure, but I'm still having major speed issues. It took a minute or two to get to this thread, and will probably take another minute just to post this. I've never had problems like this before, and nothing changed on my end when I started seeing the slowdown.

This is definitely a problem somewhere, but not on my end, and I'm not sure it's on Anandtech's end either. I'm just hoping it clears up in a couple of days, it's frustrating not being able to visit one of the only sites on the web that I visit daily.

I know there was a slowness problem with the forum when running Kaspersky Anti-Virus when "Enable e-mail scan" box was ticked.

I definitely do not have Kaspersky installed on my computer (never have, nor is it anywhere on my network). But today, the forums are finally running like normal for the first time in a week. I figured it was probably router problems that was completely out of Anandtech's control.
