Getting the mail from Microsoft Outlook somewhere

Well I finally moved out of my 1999 Windows ME Compaq Presario. Now that I'm into my new computer, I want to get the important e-mail from my Inbox from my old one.

In the Outlook folder, I couldn't see anything (obvious) that would tell me that it's the e-mail in there.

Actually, I just realized if I can find another cable wire, I can hook the old comp up to our router and see if I can e-mail it to myself again...maybe. But there has to be an easier way. I can do a sneaker network because the old computer is on my right side with a 512MB USB Pen drive in it.

Open a partial Outlook Inbox window, then open your pendrive in a window, and try dragging & dropping emails straight out of the stack in Outlook to the pendrive's window. Do the reverse procedure on your new rig. You can select whole stacks at once by clicking once on an email, then holding the Shift key while you click another one down the stack. All the emails inbetween will also get highlighted.

Thanks. Maybe it's because it's Outlook Express that I can't choose all at once, but I got what I needed. =0)

Why not just copy the .pst file from the old system and import it on the new one?

Because I didn't know it was a .pst file that did it. I said, "In the Outlook folder, I couldn't see anything (obvious) that would tell me that it's the e-mail in there."
