Getting the best RAM for Sandy Bridge

A lot of the LGA 1366 boards that I've beeny looking at support Triple channel memory. However, all of the LGA 1155 boards seem to support Dual channel. So my questions are:

1) Why don't 1155 support triple channel?
2) Will gSkill quad channel ram work on the 1155 boards?
3) How do some 1155 boards support 32 Gb of ram with 4 slots? Are 8Gb sticks coming out in the future?

Thank you,

1) The successor to LGA 1366 is LGA 2011, which will offer support for four memory channels. LGA 1155 is the mainstream socket, which is why it only offers dual channel memory support.

2) Yes, it will work, but only in dual channel mode obviously.

3) 8GB modules already exist, but I don't think they are being mass produced yet. MSI had a 32GB (4x8GB) setup running on their P67 motherboards.

Ok, thank you! I didn't realize that the 1155 was mainstream, I thought it was better than 1366 for some reason. I've been debating between the i7-950 and the i7-2600k. So far everyone has recommended the i7-2600k without a second thought. However, a few people said stick with the 1366 and I wasn't sure why... now I know. Thanks again!
