Getting Tested For My Allergies

I was around weed last Friday, I didn't take any hits, but I might as well have. I've had numerous cigars since then. I don't inhale the cigars, but will that make a difference? Also, does Alcohol show up in your system, just out of curiousity?

I CANNOT get caught with anything besides normal in my system.

After I was around weed, my allergies started acting up like crazy (10 mins after.)

I'm just paranoid, but help me out a little?


EDIT: I drink about 140-160 fluid ounces of water a day, will that flush it out faster?

I have to say this is quite an original post.

To answer your question, you're taking a blood allergy test, correct?

AFAIK, they only test the levels of certain antibodies in the test. There is no testing for foreign substances like a typical blood/drug test.

All I know is I have seasonal allergies, and I guess I'm going to get them checked.

I think they're going to rub a bunch of leaves and shit on me, while injecting stuff in my system to see if I react. <--- Blood Allergy Test?

Rich, I've been told by multiple people not to inhale cigars. I guess they're 10x worse for you or something. I do it because they taste good, and it fulfills my teenage need to be doing something illegal.

As far as I'm aware, you're only supposed to inhale half the smoke you draw from the cigar in a single drag, or so I?ve heard. Either way I think cigars are gross, they?re just too strong for me. Anyway, I don?t smoke anymore, and neither should you.

Asking that question is like asking if a strep throat swab is going to pick up your HIV. They can't find something they're not looking for. Even if they did find something (they won't), the results are your own medical information in this case. You couldn't get them to tell anyone else the results if you tried, because then you could sue them and buy your own car instead of smoking up daddy's money in the one he bought you. Get some smarter friends while you're at it if it's not too late (it is).

It is standard (or at least common) practice to not inhale cigar smoke.

And as someone earlier in the thread posted, you're getting an allergy test, not a drug test.

Allergy testing as you describe is simply injecting the items into many locations and then measuring to how much your skin puffs up.

Here's how I look at it...Living in this small redneck town in Nebraska, I don't exactly have a huge lineup of friends who's horizons are very broad. The two things that are on the mind are, much like many other people, pot and beer. I hate beer, and I think I have an allergic reaction from just being around second hand marijuana.

So, I could either stay at home all night posting on Anandtech, and playing Counter-strike, or I could attempt to meet new people, and hopefully, I get that person that is more than just a flaming redneck who wants to get trashed.

But, until then, I'm stuck those idiots.
