Getting some web hosting

I've been thinking about getting a web site again after my 1&1 free hosting ran out last month. So I've done a little research and I've narrowed it down to either moreweb.com or hostpc.com.
I'm planning on hosting a site for my mother-in-law for her catering business, for my wife's book sales business, and as a personal family website. So I'll probably need three domains, but I don't expect much traffic though. I also don't think I'll need more than a couple MB of storage. The price will be split between me and my mother-in-law so it's probably not much of a concern either.

Anyone have any experience with these companies? I think I remember Rossman saying in a previous thread that AT is hosted on moreweb if I'm not mistaken...

hostpc.com:
monthly: $4.99 | yearly: $58.95
No Setup Fees
1600 MB Disk Space
24000 MB Monthly Transfer
100 POP3/IMAP Mail Accounts
UNLIMITED add on Domains
Does not include domain name registration

moreweb.com:
12 Month Term - FREE setup + FREE domain & $7.95 per month.
24 Month Term - FREE setup + FREE domain & $6.95 per month.
2000 MB Storage Space
50000 MB Monthly Transfer
yourname.com Domain Name
You will have the ability to create and manage up to 5 sub domains for your account.
Each account can host up to 5 domains. You may also control how your resources are split for each domain, or equally share them.
500 POP3/IMAP Mail Accounts
Domain Names - Only $7.95 per Year.

According to moreweb.com their parent company has hosted AnandTech for the past 5 years, I was just passing on information posted in the ATHD thread (which has been deleted).

I only have personal experience with HostPC.com which was great considering the price. Aside from e-rice.net (which doesn't use DirectAdmin) they're one of the few reputable cheap web hosts.

If you can increase your budget a little I would highly recommend 10for10.com I've been with them for a few months and it's been great. Speed and uptime are always consistent, support is also fast and friendly.

I would not sign up for e-rice.net, it was just an example of a cheap web host.

I was being facetious....in the previous thread you mentioned e-rice, but I took that as a recommendation to look at them when in actuality you meant it to be just an example of a cheap webhost...ah nevermind.

Yeah I shouldn't have mentioned e-rice.net, just confused you.

Sorry about that.

10for10 > moreweb > HostPC

If value (you're a cheap ass) is important

HostPC > moreweb > 10for10

i can only vouch for moreweb.com, because i have hosting through them. i've been satisfied with their performance and support.

i do with they had an upgrade package from the 50GB bandwidth, though.

Do they have a new coupon?

I wouldn't pay more than $9.24 for your first year, then cancel.
