In case anyone else purchased a Finepix 1400 after 11/10/00 you may get screwed on the rebate for $50. Even though the rebate says clearly valid on purchases between september 15th, 2000 and January 01, 2001 they are not honoring it. I called Fuji to see where the serial number is (on bottom the camera, duh...) and they asked me when I purchased it, I said 11/25 and they transferred me to someone in charge of this rebate issue. Apparently they have cancelled the rebate and are no longer honoring it. They have dropped the price now but that does not help me when the main reason I purchased it was becasue ater rebate the cameras were about $120... so I may end up paying $100 more... Crap.
