I have had my eye on these Altec Lansing speakers and would like your comments.. thanxs!

ACS56 suggested by bro for supreme gaming experience and on-board vol/bass/treble control

ATP3 for thier space saving qualities

ADA880R these are digital will they work with the SB LIVE Value?

I also like these but i see they have a USB port connection...can they still be connected to the sound card if i get a set?

ACS495
ADA305
ADA310W[/b}

i am using these at college so i do not have a bunch of space and will primarily be using it for listening to mp3 dowloads and dvd movies when i have time and for playng a few games

Which do you suggest? experience with your suggestion appreciated

I'd say go with the ACS56 for a college sys. As for the USBs you listed you'll have to check the specs. Most USB speakers also have stereo 1/8" jacks (but check the specs and be sure).

Also there is supposed to be a SBL Value 2 which has digital out on it.

Personally I'd say get the best you can afford.

(Then again, I shelled out for Klipsch Promedia v2 400s......and they F'ing ROCK!!!!!!!!! I use them with my comp and with my home entertainment system [I have everything in my room] 🙂 )
