I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in OS...but anyway here goes. I'm running Vista U32 and the UAC blocks RivaTuner at startup. This is ridiculously annoying because I'll forget to start it when I go to game and some games will run a bit sloppier. Is there any way to make UAC permanently allow it on startup?

Try allowing rivatuner under windows "defender" so it will not be monitored. That may work.

Then you get annoying popups telling you that the computer is not protected.

Ok, wait...what do you call ALL of the popup crap that UAC gives you???

UAC is not crap lol - without it you'd have been shouting about security issues by now.

You don't have to entirely disable Windows Security Center to make it not bark at you with UAC disabled. There is an option in Windows Security Center "Change the way Security Center alerts me", that has different options for alerts. Personally, I have mine setup to simply display an icon in the tray but nothing else. That way I can see of there is a potential security issue without a bunch of annoyance.
