Ok, gettin ready to set up a new P4 system with Raid (1.8a on an 8IRXP). I have set raid up before on my athlon system, but I want to try and tweak it a little bit, so I have a couple of questions:
1. How can I (or maybe I can't) set up the raid size. When I set up my athlon system, I had no choice other than what use I would have for the puter (performance, video, etc.) I have heard that optimal size is like 16 or something like that.
2. Should I ghost my system over to my spare drive, and then format the drive in the raid setup through xp? If so, can I set my own size there and which one is best?
I use the system mainly for gaming and surfing, so maybe it is all in vain and I will not see any major difference. If so, tell me. I will just use defaults then. It is easier anyways!
