Getting ready to buy a LCD off newegg help me out

Wanting to keep it under $270 or so shipped if possible. They have a few on there for under or around that. I was looking at these 3 but can't decide. I want something thats fairly reliable(if thats possible with LCD's) and must have good warranty.

Will be gaming some aswell but don't expect anything killer for my price range. Feel free to suggest something else if its in my price range.

The Hyundai is a solid screen; 16ms, and I doubt DVI will make a world of difference at 12x10 on a 17" screen.

what is DVI for exactly? I'm a complete newb with LCD's. But more than anything I want something with good warranty if any of those companys are good for RMA'ing their stuff. Feel free to mention them.

DVI is a digital path for your video signal from your video card to the monitor. If you absolutely must have the best image quality, DVI is a must, but most people report seeing little difference on lower-resolution/smaller screens. I've tested the Hyundai screen at my local Fry's, and it looks excellent over an analog DB15 connector; games look great too, with no noticeable ghosting.

Too common. I went through four Viewsonic vP201s monitors, each one had at least one dead pixal, the worst had over ten. I returned them for issues other than dead pixals however (though they played a major factor, especially be the time I made it to the forth which only had that as an issue). From what I've seen, Viewsonic and Dell are the ones to avoid as far as dead pixals are concerned, poor quality in my opinion.

At least going by the buyer reviews on newegg, dead pixels aren't common on the Hyundai and it has a 3yr. warranty. But the length if warranty isn't anywhere near as important as how well the company backs the warranty.

Decided to go with the Hyundai because it had the most reviews. I have no idea if they will backup their stuff but if not I will give them hell till they do.

I've been eyeballing that Acer for about a week now but I'm still hoping my local Sams club will drop their price on the 17" Samsungs. That 14ms looks great and most of the reviewers say no ghosting plus I like the styling on the Acer over the other 17's in the same price range. The thought of getting one with 4 or 5 dead pixels and being stuck with is making me hold out a bit longer to see what kind of Christmas deals the local comp stores will come up with.
