Getting random Emergency Broadcast System tones

S8+ that I moved over to TMobile (from VZW in January). It's on the unlocked firmware so I didn't have to do anything. Just today, I've been getting random loud tones of the emergency broadcast system on the phone (4 or 5 long tones each - yes, the exact sounds you hear on tv). It's happened more than 8 times in the last 2 hours (vibrate does shut it up but vibrates). During the alert the very first time, the notification menu showed that wifi-calling icon was enabled (I enabled wifi-calling this morning randomly) but maybe that notification was already there. I disabled wifi calling thinking that was causing some issue. But it's still doing it and shows no further notifications at all when it's doing the alerts. I've done the latest software update and rebooted but it's still alerting.

Check emergency alerts in settings.

What were the alerts for? They push dust storm alerts down here a lot. And Amber Alerts. I think it was really bad for a bit for me because I had like 2-3 weather widget things and so I think I got alerts from multiple ones of them, and then either Android started pushing their own or something.
